


The course is intended for
competent fencers who are interested in starting or furthering their coaching
career. The aim of the course will be to
qualify fencers for the BAF initial award, but it will also cover the syllabus
for Level 1 and Level 2 of the latest British Fencing system. The minimum age to obtain a coaching
qualification is 16, but coaches under 18 have to work
under direct supervision of an adult coach whatever grade of qualification they
obtain.
