Fencing Coaching Course: 30th July – 3rd August 2007

Coached training session for fencing pupils

We are offering the opportunity to have a day or an afternoon of quality coached training at very low cost.

A coach education course aimed to qualify fencers for the BAF initial award, also covering the syllabus for Level 1 and Level 2 of the latest British Fencing system will be run.  The course is intended for competent fencers who are interested in starting or furthering their coaching career.  There will be about 6-10 coaches under training ranging from novices (as coaches) to international fencers.  Part of their training involves giving class & individual lessons on a range of topics covering basic & not-so-basic moves of fencing.  This is a full time course form Monday to Friday 10.00am to 4.00pm.

Group classes will be coached ever afternoon from 1pm to 4pm, and we need competent fencers to take individual lessons every morning from Tuesday onwards.

This is an important course for the trainee coaches.  In order for us to plan the sessions correctly we must know who will be available when, so please send your reply as soon as possible. If you cannot make the times stated here you can arrive late or leave early, let us know.
